Who We Are

About SUGRiA

SUGRiA is a non-profit, non-governmental agricultural training and farmer support initiative. We are not affiliated with any government, political party, or state institution. We exist entirely through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and training fee contributions.

SUGRiA was born out of a simple conviction: African farmers deserve real support, even when banks and financial organisations turn them away. We step into the gap the formal financial system leaves behind.

🌿 Non-Governmental · Non-Profit · Donor-Supported
"We exist for the farmer that no bank will support, in the community that no institution will reach β€” growing the Africa the world needs to feed itself."

What We Do With Training Fees

As a non-governmental project, our resources are limited. Your training fees directly fuel our ability to serve more farmers across Africa.

πŸ’‘ Paying Expert Trainers
Training fees are pooled to pay qualified agronomists and field experts who deliver hands-on training to farmers across our programme countries.
🌱 Funding Outstanding Projects
A portion of every training fee goes directly into our project grant pool, helping us fund exceptional agro-projects submitted by shortlisted participants.
πŸ” M&E & Field Operations
Monitoring, evaluation, and field officer costs ensure every funded project is tracked and guided toward genuine, lasting impact.
How Your Fee Creates Impact
Participant Pays Registration Fee
Fees are pooled into the SUGRiA Programme Fund.
Experts Are Engaged
Qualified trainers are compensated to deliver practical agricultural training.
Outstanding Projects Are Funded
Surplus income supplements donor contributions to fund the best project proposals.
Communities Are Transformed
Trained farmers, funded projects, and monitored outcomes create real, measurable change.
